Preserving your Harvest: Freezing and Dehydrating
In person at the library. Freezing and Dehydrating are two methods of food preservation that don't require require a lot of specialized equipment. We don't always have a surplus of food to process at one time, and freezing is a great method for preserving both small batches or bushels of produce! If you have a dehydrator, that's great! Friends of the Library Meeting
Be part of something exciting and make a difference at your library! In the past years, the Friends have supported many library endeavors including: fundraising via book sales, the Accessories Bazaar and the BOOzaar. They have purchased a flat screen TV for our library marketing display, helped put on Family Fun Day, contributed for the Neighborhood Library Association’s author visit, have donated magazine subscriptions to the library, and have funded our ability to provide ebooks to our customers.
