Kelly Bailo is bringing us a special Lockbox Challenge especially for tweens and teens aged 10-19. Similar to an escape room, we'll be testing you to see how many puzzles you can solve in 20 minutes! Bracelets are 2.5" x 8" with a velcro closure. If the registration list is full, please add yourself to the waitlist, as we often have kits not picked up promptly that we can offer to the waitlist. Kits will be available to pick up in the curbside lobby (north end of the building) beginning Tuesday, January 14th. - Paws for Reading (6 Events)

Paws for ReadingNew or struggling readers in grades 1-5 are invited to sign up for a 15-minute "Paws for Reading" session with one of our local certified therapy dogs. Dogs are excellent listeners and never interrupt! The goal is to provide a non-judgmental atmosphere in which kids can read without correction or interruption and learn not just to read, but to love reading as well. A handful of books will be available, but feel free to bring one from home. Each child will have one-on-one reading time.
