A Seed Saver's Garden

Monday, February 16:30—8:00 PMZoom

Seed Saving is an important part of sustainable living and gardening, and a protection in times of scarcity. This has been well evidenced by the seed shortages in 2020 caused by the pandemic that are already beginning to carry over to 2021. Whether you are aiming for greater self-sufficiency or to steward rare varieties, the ability to save seeds is a valuable skill. Find out how to choose the correct varieties to grow for seed saving, and learn techniques for locating and growing your garden for optimum success in saving seeds and producing food. You will also learn about the LTPL Seed Library and how to get free, open-pollinated seeds for your garden. There is no charge for this program.
