Countertop Gardening: Growing Sprouts and Microgreens

Indulge your gardener’s soul with fresh food no matter what the weather! Growing nutrient-dense sprouts and microgreens on your countertop or windowsill will keep you supplied with salad ingredients all year long. In this program we will cover sprouting, which is using plain water to sprout seeds without soil, and growing microgreens in a small amount of soil. We will learn about the equipment needed, light requirements, troubleshooting, and how to use those yummy greens in recipes!

Mason jar sprouting lid and a sample package of sprouts will be provided for the first 48 people who register!
