Zoom: Expungement Clinic

Friday, October 71:00—5:00 PMZoom

If you have a criminal record, you may be eligible to have it removed through a process called expungement!

The Oakland County Bar Association, in partnership with Lakeshore Legal Aid, Detroit Mercy Law, and the Lyon Township Public Library, will be offering a FREE, virtual clinic for anyone who requires assistance with the expungement process. For those that are eligible for expungement, the clinic will provide assistance from legal professionals who will be able to evaluate your record, discuss options and assist with expungement filings. This clinic will be held virtually and requires pre-registration.

The pre-registration process allows our partners to collect important information so they can evaluate your expungement eligibility. Once you are determined to be eligible through the pre-registration process, you will receive one-on-one support from a legal professional at our Virtual Expungement Clinic on Friday, October 7 between 1pm and 5pm to help you with the expungement process.

To pre-register, email Casey Williams at cwilliams@lakeshorelegalaid.org with the subject line 'October 7 Virtual Clinic'. Please provide your full name (including your middle name and any previous names), date of birth, gender, and race. Pre-registration ends Friday, September 23. Spots are limited!

Unable to attend but still need legal advice? Call Lakeshore Legal Aid's Counsel & Advocacy Law Line at 1-888-783-8190.
