Donna will show us a powerpoint presentation with photographs from Michigan Technological University along with a short video about the Copper Country. Donna has published a novel, Copper Empire, which-is set in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. She has a strong connection to the Copper Country because her grandmother was born and raised in Houghton and told her many stories of what life was like in that region.
