You may have heard these terms on the news, but what do they have to do with genealogy? This session demonstrates how these emerging technologies will shape a new frontier in family history, including how we research our ancestors and share their stories. Learn how AI is being used for record indexing, translation, working with images, and writing family narratives. A brief overview of using avatars in the meta-verse for genealogy education will be discussed, along with possibilities for creating NFTs to show provenance for photographs, heirlooms, DNA, and more.
