Learn To Code Python for Beginners

Saturday, September 212:00—3:00 PMLibrary Community CenterLyon Township Public Library27005 S. Milford Rd., South Lyon, MI, 48178

It's never too early to learn about computer programming! Teertha Segu, local high school senior, will be teaching tweens and teens  how to code using the Python programming language. This series of four 90-minute sessions is designed for the beginner coder.

No coding experience is necessary, but basic arithmetic skills will be required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division). Engaging and informational lessons and activities will spark students' interest in coding,  and encourage exploration and curiosity.

Please plan to attend all four sessions, as each class will build upon the previous one (9/7, 9/14, 9/21, and 10/5).

Participants will be using library-provided Chromebooks for all sessions.

If you have any questions about the course, feel free to contact Teertha at seguteertha@gmail.com
