Owl Pellets and Food Webs with Sloan-Longway

Saturday, October 12:00—3:00 PMLibrary Community CenterLyon Township Public Library27005 S. Milford Rd., South Lyon, MI, 48178

Whooo eats who? Find out as we dissect owl pellets while exploring food webs and animal adaptations for survival.

Owl pellets are not poop! They are all the indigestible parts of an owl's food and owls spit them out the same way a cat spits out a hairball. Come learn about an owl's diet, build a food chain, and see how a food chain differs from a food web.  Limited to children and teens aged 4 and up.

Registration required. This program will be offered at 11:00am, and 2:00pm, so please register for a single session.

This program will be in-person at the library. If circumstances require it, the program may be changed to virtual only. Children aged 12 years and under must be accompanied by a responsible caregiver (aged 16+) who remains on the premises for the duration of the program.

Registration for this event has now closed.
