Decorate a 6" spinner with markers, crayons, stickers, or paint then wind them up by twisting the wooden disc around the string, and pull each end of the string to watch the optical effect magic! These big wooden circles are a great way to learn about color mixing, energy, and momentum.

If your family would benefit from crayons, or markers to complete this craft, please indicate so in the registration questions and we will include some.

Kits will be labeled by last name and placed in the Summer Reading Tent for pickup beginning on Tuesday mornings. Please double check to make sure you are only taking your own labeled kits. We have a limited number of craft kits available. Please do not request one if you will be unavailable to pick it up during its designated week. Any kits not picked up by the following Monday will be offered to wait list registrants.
