Donna's Bio:
She earned a Bachelor’s degree with a major in Journalism from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 1991. It was at this time that she began to write free-lance articles for magazines as well as write the beginning stages of her novel, Copper Empire.

Donna and her husband live in Macomb Township. She has worked at Oakland University for the past 26 years as an administrative assistant while she pursues my hobby of writing and giving historical presentations at libraries.

In 2013, she published her novel, Copper Empire, which is set in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Donna has a strong connection to the Copper Country because her grandmother was born and raised in Houghton and told Donna stories of what life was like in that region. Donna enjoys traveling to the Copper Country every summer.
