Dennis was a charter faculty member of Oakland Community College where he taught World History for 42 years. During his career he was selected three times as the Highland Lakes Campus Outstanding Faculty member. Since his retirement he has presented programs at The Adult Learning Institute, SOAR, and a number of libraries including White Lake, Highland, Shelby, Commerce, Chelsea, Farmington, Westland and others.
